Terms of Service

Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms apply when you create an account or use ClientStream. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

ClientStream provides tools for customer records, jobs, reminders, quotes, invoices, payments, expenses, reports and business communications. Features may evolve as the service is improved.

2. Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your credentials secure and controlling access to your account. You must not use ClientStream for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful activity, or upload information you are not entitled to handle.

3. Your business data

You retain responsibility for the business and customer information you enter. You grant ClientStream the limited permission needed to host, process, back up and transmit that information to operate the service. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions or notices required before entering another person's information.

4. Free and Pro plans

The Free plan has the limits displayed in ClientStream. Pro is a recurring paid subscription at the price shown before checkout. When Square billing is enabled, Square processes payments and subscription details. A subscription continues until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect according to the paid period and status shown in ClientStream or Square.

5. Quotes, invoices and reports

ClientStream helps organise records but is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. You are responsible for checking document content, GST treatment, invoice requirements, tax obligations, payment records and EOFY exports before relying on them or providing them to an adviser or customer.

6. Smart Write

Smart Write produces draft text from information you provide. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and editing a generated message before sending it, and for avoiding sensitive information that is not needed for the message.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep ClientStream available and reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, security incidents or other events can affect access. We may change, add or retire features where reasonably necessary to operate or improve the service.

8. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended where reasonably necessary to protect ClientStream, its users or third parties, address abuse or security risks, or comply with law. You can stop using ClientStream at any time and account owners can permanently delete a business from Settings after any active paid subscription is cancelled.

9. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the extent permitted by law.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ClientStream is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, user-entered errors, decisions made from reports or AI drafts, or failures of third-party services. This clause does not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the product, law or service providers change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by an in-product notice.

12. Contact and governing law

Questions can be sent through the contact details on clientstream.io. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Tasmania, Australia, subject to any rights or laws that must apply elsewhere.
